Post-Construction Cleaning for Bergen County Projects

Final punch-list cleaning that turns a finished build into a ready-to-hand-off space. Dust, debris, fingerprints, and fit-out residue — handled.

What's Included in a Post-Construction Clean

Post-construction cleaning is different from office cleaning. It's heavier, dustier, and every surface needs attention — not just the floor.

  • Gross debris removal: leftover materials, packaging, boxes
  • Full interior dust removal: walls, ceilings, vents, light fixtures
  • Window interiors: frames, tracks, glass — inside only
  • Floor care: sweep, vacuum, mop; specialty care for polished concrete, LVT, tile, carpet
  • Restrooms: tile, grout, fixtures, mirrors, hardware polishing
  • Kitchens & breakrooms: cabinetry inside and out, appliance wipe-down
  • Doors, frames, baseboards, hardware — wiped and polished
  • Fit-out residue: sticker removal, adhesive cleanup, label removal
  • Final walk-through with GC or PM to address punch items

We typically quote post-construction in two passes — rough clean after drywall/paint, final clean before handoff — depending on project scope.

Post-Construction FAQ

Most post-construction jobs can start within 48–72 hours of quote approval. Emergency turnarounds (next-day) are available when crews have capacity — call us and we'll check.
Post-construction is priced per job. Main inputs are square footage, project complexity (rough clean vs. final clean vs. both), floor type, and timeline. We quote flat-rate with no hourly surprises.
Yes. We frequently phase around active trades — cleaning finished floors while drywall crews work upstairs, for example. Let us know your sequencing and we'll coordinate with your superintendent.
Rough clean = debris removal and coarse dusting after the dirty trades (drywall, paint) finish. Final clean = the detail pass before handoff — polished hardware, streak-free glass, dust-free vents, stickers removed. Most GCs do both; smaller jobs do just final.
We carry $1M+ general liability insurance and our post-construction staff have experience with OSHA 10 safety training, active job-site PPE, and construction-specific cleaning protocols. Certificate of insurance and additional insured language available on request.
