Who we are

"Bergen Commercial Cleaners", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the business entity operating under this brand. We provide commercial cleaning services throughout Bergen County, NJ.

How our service works

When you engage us for services, we assess your needs, confirm scope and pricing, and deliver the service on your agreed schedule. To deliver services efficiently and maintain coverage across our full service area, we may engage trained independent contractors to perform cleaning work on our behalf. All personnel — whether employees or contractors — are required to meet our standards for licensing, insurance, and background checks. Regardless of who performs the physical work, you deal with us: one point of contact, one invoice, one agreement.

Quotes and agreements

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are not binding until a separate service agreement is signed. Service agreements will specify scope, frequency, pricing, term, and termination conditions.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your building and service needs
• Provide reasonable access to your building during scheduled service windows
• Disclose any known hazards, restricted areas, or special requirements before service begins
• Pay invoices according to the agreed terms

Limitations and disclaimers

While we vet every Crew in our network for licensing, insurance, and track record, we do not guarantee outcomes. Cleaning services are provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis.

We are not liable for:

• Damage caused by pre-existing conditions in your building
• Items left in areas being cleaned (we recommend securing valuables before service)
• Delays or service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.

Insurance

All Crews in our network are required to carry general liability insurance of at least $1M per occurrence. Certificates of insurance are available on request before service begins.

Payment

Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. Standard terms are Net 15 for recurring contracts and payment on completion for one-time jobs. Past-due balances accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.

Termination

Month-to-month contracts may be cancelled by either party with 30 days written notice. Term contracts may be terminated earlier for material breach, as specified in the applicable service agreement.
